Sounds like the 410 is still plagued with problems! I have no definitive solution for you all, unfortunately. I think the drivers were questionable to begin with and there have been countless major upgrades to both OS X and the Macintosh hardware since... plus the 410 itself may just be an unreliable piece of hardware too. I actually bit the bullet and made a massive upgrade to a Metric Halo ULN-2 years ago and never looked back!

I'm having this problem. Only started a week and a half ago. I've been waiting patiently for a response from M-audio tech support for 7 days, and i've not heard a peep out of them.
I'm really really pissed off with their lack of support, and what seem to be increasingly dodgy products.
i'm in the middle of my dissertation/thesis on computer game music for university, and I need to orchestrate using midi... but guess what? my 410 is bricked, and i'm probably going to fail my final year because these gits can't get themselves sorted!!!!!!!

Anyways, i've tried mine on 3 systems now, one Macbook, one laptop, and one PC. I've used, for each, both the 6-pin and 4-pin connectors, both with the power plug in and out. nothing. just that annoying blue flashy light, which will frankly drive me to the point of jumping off a bridge if I stare at it any longer.... :(

hi there! Í have one of this "box" and I used it for about 2 long years more or less. I never had a problem till yesterday....the blue light keep on flashing and Windows doesn´t recognize it. I´ve tried to turn it on -off-unplugged-plugged-reinstalling original and latest drivers and nothing happen. Í presume that it´s lost because for me is an internal problem and on the web doesn´t exist any software tho flash the hardware. AAAA also tried with different computers. PLEASE!!!! DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEAS FOR THIS PROBLEM!!???????
